When you need physical therapy services, the last thing you need is the stress and frustration of figuring out what your health insurance plan covers. Health insurance vocabulary can be like a foreign language. It can be very confusing. We will gladly assist you. Give us a call or send us an email. We will need basic information from your health insurance card including group number, ID number, and the health insurance customer service phone number. We will help determine your deductible, co-pay amounts, and limitations. We believe you be should be informed and know up front what it will cost you.

If you do not have health insurance coverage give us a call. We are willing to work out a financial arrangement in order to meet your needs. We can charge a flat fee for a particular diagnosis/problem or an hourly rate. We guarantee to provide answers to your questions regarding what is causing your reoccurring injury. See the chart below which further describes the effectiveness and efficiency of your services.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE DAMIEN HOWELL PHYSICAL THERAPY EVEN THOUGH YOUR HMO HAS NOT

Even if your HMO refuses to choose Damien Howell Physical Therapy as an approved provider you still can choose which physical therapist you wish to see. We are willing to work out a financial arrangement in order to meet your needs. Depending on the details it may actually be more cost effective to self-pay rather than use the physical therapy your health insurance company chooses. We can charge a flat fee for your particular diagnosis or an hourly rate.

When deciding which physical therapist to see be sure to consider more than cost in dollars. Your HMO has already chosen the Physical Therapy Clinic based on the lowest possible price. When choosing a Physical Therapist be sure to take into consideration the following issues:

Effectiveness/outcome of service
Efficiency of service
Concern and attention you receive.

Who provides the service?	Each visit you will see Damien, 30 years experience, Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy	Often you see a recent graduate of a Physical Therapy school, and/or a Physical Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Aide.
Effectiveness/Outcomes of service?	Currently 45% of clients have chosen to self-pay for PT services at Damien Howell PT rather than go to the clinic their HMO choose. Paying out of pocket suggests satisfied outcomes.	?????
Efficiency of Service?	A majority of patient’s problems are solved in as few as 1 to 3 visits. I can achieve the same or better outcomes in fewer visits.	A majority of patients problems take 6 or more visits to resolve.
Concern and Attention?	Because I am a solo practitioner it guarantees personal attention.	It is very difficult to get personal attention from a large corporation.

If you choose the Physical Therapy Clinic your HMO chooses remember you can still choose the therapist in that clinic. Ask to speak to the Therapist. Find out about their qualifications, experience and treatment philosophy. If you find the service your receive from the Physical Therapy Clinic your HMO chooses does not meet your needs I am available to answer questions.
